Many pledge support to mass rally

Various civil society organisations have backed the proposed mass rally for a common future of Manipur being organised by AMUCO, CCSK and UCM which is slated to be held on Feb 6 .
The mass rally will start from THAU ground at 9 am of February 6 and will converge at Khuman Lampak.
The rally will be held under the theme, 'No one should compromise with the integrity of Manipur,' 'The Government of India should know the history of Manipur,' 'Let us all shed communal sentiments and strengthen oneness and unity' .
National Identity Protection Committee (NIPCO), United People's Front (UPF), Manipur, Manipuri Naat Kanba Lup, Thoubal District United Women's Development Organisation, Nongchup Imphal Loumee-Sinmi Chaokhat Thourang Lup, North Imphal United Clubs and Meira Paibees Organisation (NIUCAMO), All Manipur Students Guardians' Organisation, Manipur, All Manipur Arts and Culture Students' Union, Young Progressive and Athletic Club, Nambul Road and Apunba Committee of Konung Mamang to Irilbung (ACKMI) have announced their decision to support the rally besides taking necessary measures for the success of the procession.
To ensure maximum support to the rally, ACKMI will convene a meeting of members of all its units on Jan 31 at Juvenile Learners' Club, Wangkhei Tokpam Leikai, according to a statement.
Many other social organisations have also announced their decision to support the mass rally.
The organisations which have pledged support to the rally are, Youth Organising Club, Yangdong; Pallel Bazar Board Action Committee, Thoubal; Youth Development Organisation, Thoubal; Pallel Mutum Leirak Chaokhat Lup (PAMLEICHAL), Thoubal; Elangpokpi Popular Youth Club, Kakching; United Peoples' Administrative Council (UPACO), Manipur; Fatherland Patriots' Memorial Club, Khongjom; The Social Development Organisation, Pallel, Thoubal district; Youth Progressive Organisation, Thoubal; Youth Volunteers' Association, Thoubal and All Kakching Khunou Meira Paibi Welfare Association, Kakching Khunou.
