Kakching, January 29 2023:
The Joint Non-Government Voluntary Organisation (JNGVO), Kakching has accused CDPO of ICDS Project Kakching of violating recruitment rules for project staff and demanded probe against the officer.
Meanwhile, NPP Kakching Unit maintained'that the CDPO carried out the recruitment process with transparency and condemned JNGVO for misleading the public about the CDPO.
Addressing a press meet at Kakching Wairi on Sunday afternoon, NPP Kakching Youth Wing working president Naorem Mahesh said that the CDPO execut ed the recruitment process in a transparent manner by publishing notification in newspapers as well as putting up the same on the notice board of the office.
It is unfortunate for an organisation to allege malpractice against such a sincere officer, Mahesh said, while urging all to welcome and support sincere officials posted in the district.
In a release issued on Saturday, JNGVO claimed that the notification published in some local dailies on January 12 about the recruitment of ICDS project workers did not contain an annexure.
Besides, the CDPO violated the recruitment rules that require a minimum gap of 15 days between date of notification and date of written test.
Consequently, JNGVO submitted a complaint letter to the DC Kakching, after which the missing annexure was pasted on the notice board of the office and conducted the written test on January 25.The organisation also alleged that the office of CDPO was found under lock and key on January 27, the day of viva voce.
It further charged the CDPO of administrative malpractice in the appointment of Anganwadi workers in November 2022 .
