Maram Naga BA pentennial fellowship concludes

The 3-day Maram Naga Baptist Association (MRNBA) 3rd pentennial fellowship which was organised under the theme 'Serve the Lord in sincerity and in truth' (Joshua 24:14-15) and hosted by Lairouching Baptist Church concluded on Sunday evening.
During the Sunday morning worship service, TTA director reverend Dr Wungramthan Shongzan spoke on the topic 'Worship the Lord in spirit and truth' (John 4:24).He said every Christian must worship the Lord with his full heart in truth and in spirit and encouraged the believers to give to the Lord what is best and not for the sake of giving to receive blessing from the Lord.
Kamjong DC P Rang Peter, in his address in the noon singing competition session, said that MRNBA is the only platform for Maram Baptist churches to come together.
Everyone gathers in the programme not as mandatory but with conviction and prayer to hear the good news and worship together through songs and acts.
Peter said that it is time to reflect on the life of forefathers before the advent of Christianity and after on God's faithfulness in guiding and leading the Maram as the chosen people.
He further said that Christians should align their desires with God and serve Him.
TNBA executive secretary reverend Cheijinba Rakhangmi also addressed the gathering.
In the noon service singing competition, Mao Baptist Churches Association executive secretary reverend Pfokrelo called for living together as good Christian neighbours while stating that Mao and Maram will live together as neighbours till Jesus comes back.
In the singing competition, Kavanam Baptist Church, Maram Khullen Baptist Church and Tumuyon Khullen Baptist Church bagged the top three positions respectively in category A.MRNBA Centre Church, Pumdumlong Baptist Church and Sadim Rangalong Baptist Church won the top three positions respectively in category B.In choreography competi tion, Tumuyon Khullen Baptist Church, Lairouching Baptist Church and Kavanam Baptist Church won the top three positions respectively in category A while Pumdumlong Baptist Church, MRNBA Centre Church and Sadim Rangalong Baptist Church secured the top three positions respectively in category B.During Saturday's evening worship service, MBC peace and development director reverend T Karang spoke on 'Blessed is the nation whose God is Lord' and earlier in the morning service Poumai Naga Baptist Association executive secretary reverend Dr P James spoke on 'The Lord alone is God'.
TTA director reverend Dr Wungramthan Shongzan spoke on 'Be transformed (Rom 12:1-2)' as the last worship service.
Around 3,000 delegates from 18 churches attended the programme.
