Ibobi, Gaikhangam to attend Yatra

Congress Legislative Party leader MLA Okram Ibobi, former Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam and MPCC president MLA K Meghachandra are attending the culmination of the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Srinagar on January 30, said a statement of the Manipur State NSUI (National Students' Union of India) .
The Bharat Jodo Yatra, which started in Kanyakumari on September 7, 2022, will end tomorrow after covering 3970 kilometres in 12 States and 2 Union Territories.
To mark the culmination of the Yatra, Rahul Gandhi will hoist the National flag at the PCC Headquarters of Jammu and Kashmir in Srinagar at 10 am on January 30, said the NSUI.
Notably, Manipur State NSUI president Md Kabir Ahamad and Lhingkim Haokip Shingnaisui, secretary of AIMCC are taking part in the Yatra representing Manipur.
Meanwhile, the NSUI said the Bharat Jodo Yatra has received an overwhelming response from millions of people and it has spread Rahul Gandhi's message of love and unity among citizens of the country.
The tremendous support from all sections of society and the heartful involvement of the people has made the Bharat Jodo Yatra a historic yatra and a game-changer in Indian politics, said NSUI.
It also appealed to all the citizens of the country to collectively embrace the celebration (Bharat Jodo Yatra) in their hearts.
