An ordinary man from Manipur can become PM: MP Prakash Yadav

Lok Sabha MP Om Prakash Yadav here said yesterday that the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre has been upholding true democracy in the country where an ordinary person from Manipur can also become the Prime Minister.
The MP from Bihar was taking part in the mass enrolment campaign for Sekmai Mandal of BJP Manipur along with party's president Th Chaoba and executive members.
He said the Bharatiya Janata Party has been upholding democracy unlike the Congress which has been taking keen interest in espousing the Gandhi family.
Yadav said BJP believes in sustaining a true democratic Government so that an ordinary person from Manipur can also become the Prime Minister of the country.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is now known by the world as a exact leader within a short span of time since he took over office.
"Several Congress leaders have been put into bars on corruption charges during the first three months of Modi's tenure," he said.
Yadav also said many more political leaders from Congress are now facing trial for indulging in corruption.
The Congress Party do not think of the country, he charged.
BJP Manipur Pradesh president Th Chaoba said Modi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh launched the mega mass enrolment drive for the party on November 1 this year.
Chaoba said BJP itself won 31.0 percent of all votes and 282 (51.9 percent) of all seats in the election to the 16th Lok Sabha.
The state BJP chief called upon the people to take part in the mass enrolment campaign and join the party.
