Visually challenged boy felicitated

Ukhrul, December 14 2014:
RS Dearson, who was born visually impaired, was today felicitated at his native village Ngainga for completing graduation in Political Science.
Even though he was born visually challenged, his enthusiasm in education led to successful completion of the degree course.
During the felicitation programme, Ngainga village Pastor R Rashadang prayed for bountiful blessing and success in his life.
RS Dearson narrated the past struggle after he got admission at Government Ideal Blind School, Imphal.
He said after matriculation, he encountered various problems.
However, he struggled and worked hard as he aspired for higher education.
Dearson is the son of the Rs Thomas of Ngainga village.
Including Dearson, four of Thomas's children were born visually impaired.
Thomas expressed his gratitude and praise to the Lord for everything he had bestowed on the family.
Western Tangkhul Students Organization president, village headman, Pastor, VDC, Deacon families, friends and teachers of RS Dearson attended the programme.
