One day symposium held at Jiribam

Jiribam, December 14 2014:
A one day symposium on potentials of Organic � Orthodox Tea in Jiribam was held on Sunday at PWD Guest house, Jiribam.
During the symposium organized by Manipur Cultural Integration Conference (MCIC) in collaboration with All Jiribam Working Journalist Union (AJWJU), Jiribam; INTACH � Manipur Chapter and People Foundation, Manipur under the sponsored of Centre for Social Development(CSD), Imphal; Ng.
Biswajit Singh, President All Jiribam Working Journalist Union (AJWJU) delivered Welcome address and Dr.R.K.Ranjan delivered key note addres.
The symposium was attended by O.Mohindra Singh, Director Heirang, Govt of Manipur Undertaking as chief guest and President Kishan Morcha BJP Manipur Pradesh Kh Naba Chandra as President, while Editor of Manipur Chronicle Mr.Nilotpol Choudhary attended the symposium as Guest of Honour.

Manager, Dolopsora Tea Estate delivered their valuable speech on the potentiality of producing Organic- Orthodox Tea in Jiribam.
Speaking as a Guest of honour, Mr.Nilotpol Choudhary shared his experience about his visit to the tea Estate in the various parts of India and beyond.
In his speech, he added that if the people become conscious about the organic Tea then definitely it will be possible to produce Organic Tea from Jiribam.
Meanwhile, O.Mohendra Singh on his presidential speech, expressed his gratitude to be a part of the symposium.
He also said that if the tea estate of Jiribam survived, then it will be well known to other place, as like the renowned Sangai deer and Shiroi Lily of Manipur.
