Imphal, July 15 2015 :
Nambashi Students' Union appealed to the government to allocate backlog teachers and staff in Nambashi High school on the ongoing school session.
In a press statement issued by NSU President Chipemmei Keishing said that Nambashi High School is one of the oldest and best schools in the Kasom Khullen Sub division area under Ukhrul district but now the school has been facing many problems including lack of school infrastructures like building, toilet, water tank, boarding and staff, etc.
He said the school has been running in the four class rooms by eight teachers without science teachers and Clerk since 1994. The class room was also constructed by splice of mud and crafts under RMSA.
Due to lack of boarding facility the outside students stay in the rent and some Class X students went to Imphal for science coaching.
The students union threatened to agitate in various democratic forms if the government fails to translate their demands into actions, the statement added.
