Support for Robinhood, ILP pours in

Imphal, July 15 2015 :
All Manipur Govt Higher Secondary Lecturers' Welfare Association on Wednesday organised a condolence meeting on the death of Robinhood which was participated by Robinhood's father, teachers and peoples from different parts of the state.
The Association also donated Rs.10,000 for the monument of Robinhood.
Meanwhile, people staged sit-in protests at various areas of the state showing full support to the ongoing ILP movement.
People of Sega Road Konjeng Hajari Leikai on Wednesday staged sit-in protest at Dhobi Machu Leirak.
Similar sit-in protest was staged by members of Film Forum Manipur at Usha Hall and by Kakhulong Kabui community at Kakhulong.
All Manipur Nupi Marup led by its President organised a condolence meeting at the residence of Robinhood who was killed by state police in the ongoing movement.
Phaknung Meira Paibi Lup also staged a sit-in protest supporting the mass movement of JCILPS.
All Manipur School Students' Transporter Association also condemned the killing of Robinhoodand staged two minute silent condolence showing respect to the martyr.
Khwairamband Nupi Keithel Semgat Sagatpa Lup and Khwairamband Nupi Keithel Sinpham Amadi Saktam KanbaLup also condemned the killing of Sapam Robinhood and vowed to extend full support for implementing ILP in the state.
While condemning the inhuman killing of Sapam Robinhood by state force, MayanglangjingYouths' Library Club demanded heavy punishment to all who are involved in the killing and firmed to support on JCILPS.
Meanwhile, Manipur Democratic People's Fronthas strongly condemned the Manipur Govt.for being anti-people, tyrannical and dictatorial attitude which is against democracy.
A press release by the Front blamed that imposition of curfew creates more chaotic state while the Govt.failed to please the people and showed its insufficient governance and high handedness.
Further blaming for failure to maintain proper law and order in the state, the Front said that insurgents are neither terrorist nor enemies but armed people agitating against the central/state Govt.for a cause.
The Front also demanded President's Rule in the state and Assembly be dissolved.
Women Welfare Organisation Kangleipak, (WWOK) Jiri branch also organised a sit-in protest at Babupara, Jiribam supporting the cause of ILP and JCILPS.
