Representatives of Pettigrew College Teachers' Welfare Association today reportedly met the four villagers including a college lecturer who after being arrested from Skipe village in Ukhrul district are kept in the custody of Myanmarese police at Tamu.
According to information received by the press, when the representatives of the Association led by its secretary KAS Soreingam met the captives specially the college lecturer Ngalo Ningshen, they were not allowed to communicate in Tangkhul dialect but speak only in English.
The representatives also came to know the eatables sent for the captives have not been handed over to them by the Myanmarese police.
It is said that health condition is Ngalo is deteriorating.
