Students awarded with course on computer concepts certificate

Imphal, March 11 2013:
The Red Shield Division, in its efforts to bring peace and normalcy in the state of Manipur, has been instituting various youth invigorating measures to prepare them to compete along with the youth of the mainland for employment opportunities both at the State and National levels.
The Division has set up infrastructure, designed curriculum and incorporated competent educators to bolster its efforts towards preparing the youth for various professional competitive examinations in the remote districts of Tamenglong and Senapati.
Tahamzam Career Point, a coaching institute, run under the aegis of Red Shield Division, had prepared 25 women candidates in its 3 month capsule course, for the CCC Certification (Course on Computer Concepts), accredited to the Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC), Punjab University.
The candidates had appeared for the CCC examination conducted by the Department of Information Technology (DIT) at select centers at Imphal.
Mr Opendro had sponsored the registration fee for the students appearing in the CCC Certificate examinations and will be sponsoring 50 students this year.
Mrs Vineeta Sinha felicitated the candidates who had successfully cleared the CCC examination on 09 Mar 2013.Mrs Sinha distributed DOEACC certificates to the candidates, during the felicitation ceremony, and maintained that women from all sections of society must come forward to educate and empower themselves to take on the everyday challenges of life and bolster community well being.
She appreciated the candidates, especially those hailing from the remote districts, for their resolve in pursuing the certification course, despite their domestic responsibilities.
