Non-locals taking asylum at the government open relief camp at Dharmasala abstained from taking the food supply at the camp today saying that the food provided to them are sub-standard and not feed for human consumption.
A total of 34 non-locals are taking shelter at the relief camp opened by the authority of the state government since the re-start of attacking on the life of non-locals by miscreants in the last few weeks.
Out of them five has backed to their house after obtaining permission from the OC, City police who is responsible for looking after the security of the campers.
Government authority is providing meals two times in a day everyday to the campers.
However, the non-locals refused to receive the food today saying it were not fit for human consumption.
One of the non-locals, Rohit Yadav hailing from Bihar and earning livelihood by running a shop said police took them in the relief on security ground but they were not treating well.
They were keeping confine at a room.
Authority is providing two meals in a day which the quantity is not enough.
Apart from this, the foods provided to them are sub-standard and not fit for consumption.
That was why they abstained from taking food today.
He has been staying at the camp for the last five or six days.
He could not earn enough money to meet his family expenditure.
He could not say how they will stay at his native village.
