Thiwa public ostracize two native villagers

Thiwa Village Public Assembly Affairs has ostracized two native villagers for violation of customary laws and challenging village authority.
According to the statement of speaker, Thiwa Village Public Assembly Affairs, K Prem stated that the decision was unanimously adopted on public assembly held on May 14 .
Two persons namely " K Mangan and CL Titus" were ostracised for provoking violence in the village by inviting non villagers to meddle in village administration.
"The two persons even attempted to distort the village history by making irreverence statement on our ancestral forefather, particularly 'Hunphun Luiyi' the founder headman of Thiwa", he added.
According to the decree of banishment, the two persons K Mangan and CL Titus would not be allowed to set foot on the soil of Thiwa Village again.
Even in time of their demise, their bodies would not be allowed to bury in the village.
