One more case takes active tally to 3

Imphal, June 15 2022:
The number of active cases of Covid-19 in the state has reached three as government bulletins reported one fresh case on Wednesday, out of 60 samples tested in the last 24 hours, thus showing a positivity rate of 1.17 percent.
No recoveries or death cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
The lone fresh case is a resident of Imphal West district.
All the three active cases are in home isolation.
Till date, the pandemic has claimed 2120 lives including seven CAPF personnel and infected 1,37,244 individuals.
The virus has claimed lives of 194 vaccinated people, of which 61 had received second doses of Co vid vaccine.
So far, the state has recorded 11,456 positive cases and 118 fatalities since the beginning of the third wave of the pandemic.
The current month has reported 6 new positive cases and no fatality.
In all, 100 D-type and 14 B-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities in the last 24 hours and 4142 vaccine doses administered on Saturday which took the cumulative number of vaccinated population to 15,81,749, out of which 12,45,405 had received second doses and 1,02,134 had taken precautionary doses.
Data analysed by this daily shows that the rate of infection remains 44,229 confirmed cases per million population (based on projected population of 31,03,000 as per NCP report) against the national average of 30,749 CPM.
Test rate has improved to 5,20,098 tests per million population against the national average of 6,08,232 TPM.
Case fatality rate stands at 1.54 per cent while the recovery rate stands at 98.45 per cent.
The cumulative positivity rate came down to 8.50 per cent.
