ADC member concerned over outage

Considering the problem of outage faced by residents of Chakpikarong and its surrounding villages, newly elected member of ADC Chandel for Chakpikarong DCC Nula Warngamon on Monday appealed the authorities to commission the 133 KV power sub station at Salluk village.
Nula Warngam made the appeal through the media after visiting the station at Salluk.
He also visited the Chakpikarong Community Health Centre and the SDO office of Chakpikarong.
Nula Warngam alleged that due to lack of power supply in Chakpikarong for the last many days, CHC Chakpikarong have been using candle light to attend emergency cases in the hospital.
He also revealed the Ultra sound and X-ray room being locked without a technician to operate the machine even though it has been installed.
Affirming the shortage of doctors and nurses in the hospital, Nula warngam appealed the concerned health directorate to look into the matter at earliest.The ADC member was accompanied by the village chiefs of Chakpikarong, Rungchang, Novokom and President of NPF Chandel Divisional Unit TsMolarsing and representatives of Anal Students' Union Chakpikarong branch.
