Several students' bodies have demanded the immediate and unconditional release of student activists who are arrested in connection with the pro-ILPS movement.
In separate statements, the Naorem Bihari College Students' Union and NG College Students' Union have demanded the immediate and unconditional release of student leaders detained in connection with the ongoing ILPS movement.
The two students' unions also urged the Govt to initiate judicial enquiry into the death of Sapam Robinhood and award fitting punishment against the personnel involved.
The students' unions also warned of launching intense forms of agitation unless the demands are met and the Govt should be held responsible for any outcome thereof.
