The All Manipur Government Higher Secondary Lecturers' Welfare Association has urged the authority concerned to ensure resumption of normal classes, which have been suspended in the wake of the death of a student, Robinhood, in the ILPS demand movement.
In a statement, AMGHSLWA general secretary, M Joykumar Singh said that lecturers of all the 39 Govt Hr Sec schools in the State are ready for resumption of normal classes.
It also informed all lecturers as well as principals not to leave their respective stations.
The association also urged the Govt to bring an amicable solution to the demand of the JAC formed in connection with the death of Robinhood.
Representatives of the teachers' association have met the Education Minister in this regard, it said.
It further urged the authority concerned to release all those arrested in connection with the ILPS issue.
