Discussion held on women's issues

Women Welfare Organisation Kangleipak, (WWOK) Jiri branch on Sunday expressed concern over the increasing crime against women and children.
Women and children are being challenged and tortured and underestimated, WWOK general secretary M Bimolini told media here at the office of the organisation in Uchathol, reported Jiri News Network.
She informed that in order to help protect women and children against such crimes WWOK has been conducting awareness programme and seminars in different parts of Jiribam in Imphal East.
As part of the efforts, the women body will organise a discussion programme on "Crime against women and status of women in the society" on May 17 at Jiribam, she further informed.
Bimolini appealed to all to take part in the programme and sought help from every individual to make the programme a grand success.
