IOC consumer pump inaugurated at 143 Bn CRPF HQs

143 Battalion CRPF organised an inaugural function in connection with the newly established 20 KL capacity HSD (Diesel) Consumer Pump of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd at the unit's HQs in Lamphelpat, under the aegis of IG M&N Sector, Anshuman Yadav.
A press release issued by Commandant 143 Battalion CRPF stated that as per past practice, the bulk customers namely 69, 86, 109 & 143 Battalion CRPF, used to draw fuel from IOCL depots at Guwahati separately and kept in small fuel containers/barrels.
The service of Consumer Pump at 143 Bn would ensure hassle-free supply of fuel to end-users and avoid unnecessary fuel-spillage, unsafe handling etc, it said.
The unique initiative aims to make it more convenient for the customers to get the fuel delivered to their doorsteps, added the statement.
The Consumer Pump was inaugurated by IG M&N Sector CRPF Anshuman Yadav in the presence of DIG Range Imphal Praveen Kumar, DIGP (Med) CH Imphal Dr Lingaraju, 143 Bn CRPF Commandant Lal Chand Yadav, 69 Bn CRPF Commandant Omkarnath, 86 Bn CRPF Commandant Kalyan Singha, 109 Bn CRPF Commandant Vinod Kumar and Assistant Manager , IOCL Guwahati Division Ksheshe, it added.
