Baby successfully delivered by a team of Assam Rifles

The delivery of a new born was successfully carried out through c-section delivery in the Mantripukhri camp of the Headquarters, IGAR (South) today.
A press note by the PRO, HQ IGAR (S) informed that a team of doctors present conducted the successful c-section delivery of the baby and further declared both mother and child being healthy and happy.
The newborn was delivered by Esther Hontah (38 yrs), wife of Sanlen Hontah, Assistant Professor of DM College Campus.
During the ongoing disturbances in the area, Esther was rescued by a party of Assam Rifles to the Mantripukhri based IGAR (South).
Presently, there are nearly 3000 refugees present in the Mantripukhri camp.
The mother expressed gratitude to the team of doctors and Assam Rifles for the intricate aid and support extended during this hard time.
