Kakching DC urges

Kakching Deputy Commissioner Somorjit Salam has urged the clashing communities to come to the table for dialogue and remove all seeds of distrust in order to bring the ongoing conflict to an end.
The Kakching DC was speaking at a meeting held at Pallel Police Station attended by Shrey Vats, Kakching SP; Abhimeinu, CO Col, 21 AR, representatives of Molnoi Area Welfare Council and leaders of local clubs and organisations in Pallel area.
The meeting was organised with the objective to initiate dialogue between different communities and restore normalcy in Pallel area in view of the recent turmoil in the State.
Speaking on the occasion, Somorjit Salam shared that the District Administration, Kakching is currently undertaking an effort to visit all villages under Kakching district starting with Serou and hold talks with the people with regards to the civil unrest.
Romen Khuman, chairman, YVA Pallel also addressed the gathering and advised against the spreading of rumours.
Molnoi Area Welfare Association secretary Tongpao Haokip shared that an agreement was signed at the meeting wherein the signatories agreed to prevent the occurrence of any unwanted or violent incidents in Pallel area.
Calling against spreading of fake information, he urged people to organise similar meetings in different parts of Manipur to restore peace and normalcy in the State.
