In a press release issued by the home secretary of the group, Ruhini Meitei, the party gave information about the submission of a final report by the commanding officer of the MA Unit V, Special Demo Team, Loyangamba, confirming the completion of preparations for revenge against the state government and Congress workers.
While admitting that the party had fallen prey to the trickery of the government, URF said it has the strength and courage to set off for the process of rectification.
The release stated that true soldiers of the MA fully understood the essence of entering into the peace dialogue and asserted that it will sever relationship with insincere militants whose association with the MA is driven by temporary plans, with an opportunist and indolent mindset.
The URF also announced its official resolutions to support its benefactors as long as the party exists and pay a minimum monthly honorarium of Rs 5000 to regular Red Army/MA personnel.
It also affirmed the continuation of assignments under the campaign undertaken by the Anti Corruption Cell.
There is no other URF other than the one headed by Chairman Lanheiba Meitei with Ruhini Keitei as home secretary, it stated.
In the meantime, the URF leader has wished the followers of Islam faith for a peaceful and dignified existence on the occasion of Id-Ul-Zuha.
