AMADA training programme

Marking the second day of the 4-day district level training programme on 'Drug Abuse, Women and Child Trafficking and its Related Crimes', organised by AMADA, District Youth Co-ordinator (NYK) Imphal, a number of women spoke on 'Women Empowerment', stated a press release issued by AMADA Mayai Loisang.
The training programme which commenced yesterday is being jointly organised by the All Manipur Anti-Drug Association (AMADA) and Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (RD & PR), Government of Manipur.
The second day of the training programme was attended by the civil organisations of Leibi, Keibi, Lamlai, Takhel, Sanjenbam, Khurai Ningthoubung and leaders of Kongpal Meira Paibee Lup.
It also appealed to leaders of all the civil organisations of Manipur to participate in the third day of the training programme at State Youth Centre tommorrow in which Probation Officer, Department of S/W, Government of Manipur K Saoja would speak on 'Children Trafficking', it added.
