Imphal, March 09 2014:
Altogether 47 kins of Manipur People's Party (MPP) Spokesperson Heikrujam Nabashyam have been found missing from the voters' list of 13/4 polling station under Singjamei A/C .
The "missing" voters were detected today during the electoral camp conducted ahead of the coming Lok Sabha election.
Talking to media persons, MPP Spokesperson H Nabashyam said that Booth Level Officers (BLOs) H Joykumar and K Joychand informed him about the missing voters.
There are altogether 51 voters in the Heikrujam family, but only four of them were found enrolled in the voters' list.
He further said that the exclusion of 47 voters of Heikrujam family seems to be intentional.
They do not need to fill up the Form-6 again for enrolment.
The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) and other officials concerned should look into the issue and rectify the voters' list at the earliest, Nabashyam demanded.
