BAJI 11 waltzed into the quarter-final stage of the 4th Bikram Memorial State Level Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament when they beat Summer Set by 7 wickets in the 5th pre-quarter final match of the day today.
On winning the toss, BAJI 11 elected to field first and bowled out Summer Set for 69 in 14 overs.
Set a modest target of 70, BAJI 11 did not have much of a problem as they romped home in 10.5 overs for the loss of three wickets.
For picking up three wickets and in three overs and conceding only 10 runs, Marjit of BAJI 11 walked away with the man of the match award.
In the 6th pre-quarter final of the day, LUC on winning the toss elected to bat and compiled a massive 224 for the loss of wickets in the allotted 15 overs against YUDO.
Set a huge target, YUDO never really got into the run chase and were bowled out for 146 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 15 overs.
Ranjit of LUC was adjudged the man of the match for his swashbuckling knock of 47 runs from only 15 balls.
