School re-opening

The Commissioner of Hr and Technical Education/ Education-S/ SCERT has called for a detailed report on level of vaccination in each school/college as the State Government is considering reopening of educational institutes in the near future in the wake of improving Covid scenario in the State.
In a UO note addressed to the Director (U and Hr Edn/ Edn-S), Registrar (DMU/MTU), Controller (Technical Education) and Joint Director/DDO (SCERT), the Commissioner noted that the Government is contemplating various modalities for opening of educational institutes and it is also imperative that the opening is done after taking into consideration all prerequisite safety measures prior to the opening.
Among various measures, vaccination of all teaching and non teaching staff (preferably in two doses) may be considered to ensure safety in schools/colleges, the Commissioner said and urged the officials to ensure teaching and non teaching staff of respective departments to get vaccinated at the earliest, if not yet done.
