CRPF reaches out to locals

84 bn CRPF conducted civic action programme for two days since yesterday and distributed 500 ltrs capacity water storage tanks, PVC pipes, solar lamps and sports items to locals within its jurisdiction.
According to a statement, 28 Sintex water storage tanks of 500 litres capacity and 25 rolls of PVC pipe were distributed to Marangching, Khumji-V, Berean Baptist Academy (Noney), Savio Public School, Awangkhul, S Laijang, T Laijang and Khonglong villages.
105 solar lamps fitted with solar charger plate were distributed to Bethel Christian English School, Keithelmanbi; New Keithelmanbi, K Sinam, Sehjang, Thingkojong, Rongkhong and Marangching -IV villages.

The CRPF also distributed sports items to youth clubs of Khoken, Kharam, Nungtek; Berean Baptist Academy, Khumji and Savio Public School (HS), Awangkhul.
Free medical camps were also organised wherein medicines were provided to Luangchum (Awangkhul) and Longmai (Noney) area during the two days.
Speaking at the occasion, K Vijay Kumar, IGP, CRPF, Manipur and Nagaland Sector emphasised that the CAPs are targeted to potential beneficiaries so that it becomes meaningful.
The programme was attended amongst others by Jayant Kumar, Commandant, 86 bn CRPF, Vibha Kiran, CMO 86 bn, P Dangmei, Dy Comdt, 86 bn CRPF, Ojit Kumar, AC, Manish Kumar, AC and Daniel L, AC.
A vibrant cultural show also marked the programme.
