The Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh North East Zonal Office has appealed to the Government not to wait for strikes or bandhs for the demands of various staff to be implemented.
In a statement issued today, N Tomba Singh, Saha Sangathan Mantri of the Sangah said this and added that there are various demands of Government employees of all level, some which have been agreed upon by the Government and it is rightful for the staff to express dissent when their demands which have already been agreed are not fulfilled by the Government in time.
He added that if the Government thinks that the demands cannot be fulfilled, the other party should be informed and a new agreement should be reached instead of waiting for strikes and bandhs, which harms the functioning of the Government as well as the common people.
N Tomba added that Anganwadi workers, helpers, mini workers and ASHA are underpaid in the State while their counterparts in other parts of the Country.
