MAMO demands salary revision

The Manipur Anganwadi Mahila Organisation (MAMO) has raised various demands and said they are prepared to launch mass agitation if their demands are not fulfilled.
MAMO said this in a statement issued today and raised various demands including handing over of completed Anganwadi buildings, completion of buildings under construction, making pre-school and pre-primary school facilities available at such new buildings, providing all the benefits under Social Security Insurance Schemes, fixing the remuneration for transport of lentils and other rations and increasing the salary of staff upto a minimum of Rs 18,000/- by increasing the State share.
The association had been holding on to the demands in view of the pandemic but as the situation has been showing signs of improvement, it is time to raise the issue and get a fruitful solution to the same, added the statement.
