CPI Manipur State Council observes 73rd foundation day

Communist Party of India, Manipur State Council observed its 73rd foundation day at Irabot Bhawan today adhering to Covid SOPs and at various districts across the State.
Floral tributes were paid to the bust of Jana Neta Irabot at the event held at Irabot Bhawan by the attendees.
State secretary L Sotinkumar, state secretariat member S Yaima, N Singhajit, RK Amusana and S Sorojini Devi attended as the presidium members in today's event, said a press release by MSC/CPI.
Addressing the gathering, L Sotinkumar stated that CPI Manipur was founded by at Keishamthong Hodam Leirak on August 23, 1948 under the aegis of Hijam Irabot and has completed 73 years.
He elaborated about the various activities and achievements of the party over the past 73 years and maintained that the party based on the ideals of Scientific Socialism has been striving earnestly for the welfare of farmers and for an egalitarian society and will continue to strive for the same.
Also the 73rd foundation day was also observed at Kakching, Bishnupur and Moirang as well.
