Wahidur Rahman who is said to have involved in bashing up of Rahis Khan Aribam, a student of Heritage Convent School, has rejected the allegation levelled against him.
Speaking to reporters at State Guest House this afternoon, Wahidur Rahman said that his five-year-old son had refused to go to tuition as Rahis Khan Aribam often beat his son.
He further said that on April 13, he met Rahis Khan when he went to drop his son for tuition.
Wahidur Rahman further said that he asked Rahis Khan not to harass his son at tuition place.
Upon which, Rahis Khan got agitated and used abusive language to him.
The boy also punched him in the stomach, Wahidur Rahman alleged.
As Wahidur Rahman slapped Rahis Khan, the boy hurled a stone towards him which hit his vehicle.
Enraged with the attitude of the boy, he beat Rahis Khan with a small stick only once, he added.
Later, Rahis Khan's mother hurled abusive language against him, Wahidur Rahman said and added he never threatened them by showing license gun, Wahidur Rahman said.
He also does not own any license gun, he added.
