Workshop on "Ensemble of Manipuri and Bengali Folk Song" continues

A workshop on "Ensemble of Manipuri and Bengali Folk Song" organised jointly by Kanglei Mime Theatre Repertory and Archival Centre for Arts, Manipur under the aegis of Easter Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC), Kolkata, Ministry of Culture, Govt of India completed four day today.
As a continuation of the programme, a "Khunung Esei Faangnaba(Ensemble)" of both Manipuri and Bengali folk songs will be presented tomorrow at the auditorium of the Kanglei Mime Theatre Repertory, Moirangkhom Makha Yumnam Leikai at 4 pm, said the Kanglei Mime Theatre Repertory in a release.
The Manipuri troupe will be led by renowned Manipuri folk singer, Lourembam Bedabati while the 5-member Bengali troupe will be led by Dr Swapan Mukhopadhya, it said.
Further, the closing function of the cultural event will be attended by Budha Chingtham, president of Cultural Worker's and Activist Forum (CWAF) and L Upendro Sharma, former Director.as distinguished guests.
