Imphal, May 24 2022: WY tablets worth Rs 9.11 crore have been seized from two individuals by Tengnoupal police.

According to a Facebook post of Chief Minister N Biren, Tengnoupal police arrested Seiminlun Lhouvum (21) of Moreh Ward No 9 along with 20 packets of WY tablets which weigh 22.80 Kgs in total.

The market value of the seized tablets is estimated to be Rs 4,50,00,000.One Bolero jeep was also seized from his possession. In another incident, Tengnoupal police apprehended one Shotinlen Khongsai (38) of Moulhoi Part-III, New Moreh along with 22.70 Kgs of WY tablets which were also packed in 20 bags.

Another Bolero jeep was also seized from the possession of Shotinlen.

The monetary value of the WY tablets seized from Shotinlen is said to be around Rs 4,55,00,000 .

The market value of the WY tablets seized from the two individuals is around Rs 9.11 crore, according to the Facebook post uploaded by the Chief Minister today.
