Aid provided to snake bite victim

Imphal, May 24 2022:
Khuga Battalion of IGAR (S) extended lifesaving medical assistance to a snake bite victim of Tangpijol village in Churachandpur district on Monday.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that a 22-year old boy was bitten by a venomous snake and was having symptoms of mild fever, vomiting and headache since the time of bite.
The boy was taken by villagers to the Assam Rifles medical aid post at Singhat where he was rendered life-saving medical care and anti-venom medicines by Assam Rifles medical officer.
The boy was kept under observation at Singhat and on stabilising the condition; he was referred to Churachandpur District Hospital.
