NIELIT Study Centre inaugurated at Kangpokpi

Kangpokpi, September 24 2018:
ADC Sadar Hills Chairman, Haokholal Hangshing inaugurated Study Centre of National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Kangpokpi today at District Council Library-cum-Museum Hall inside SP Kangpokpi office campus.
The inaugural ceremony of 'NIELIT Study Centre, Kangpokpi' was attended by Haokholal Hangshing, Chairman ADC Sadar Hills as chief guest while Th Prameshwor Singh, Executive Director NIELIT Imphal and T Manihar Singh (MCS), Chief Executive Officer Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Kangpokpi attended as guest of honour and functional president respectively.
Apart from others officials and staffs of NIELIT Imphal and Senapati, candidates who have enrolled for the short term course offered by NIELIT Study Centre, Kangpokpi, officials and staffs of Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi also attended the inaugural ceremony of NIELIT Study Centre, Kangpokpi.
Later, Chairman ADC Sadar Hills, Haokholal Hangshing declared open the first batch of Computer Short Term Course for Government employees from the district and two month Computer Concept Course for other candidates at Conference Hall, ADC Sadar Hills after inaugurating the study centre.
Speaking at the occasion, ADC Sadar Hills Chairman said that in today's world where all the official and personal works are done through computer, it is essential to become computer literate to complete assigned tasks instantly by solving problems in various fields like business, education, engineering, work places, etc.
After he came to know that CEO T Manihar Singh is making effort to set up a NIELIT Study Centre here at Kangpokpi, the proposal was deliberated in the house and was finally passed, considering its importance and necessity, narrated Chairman Haokholal Hangshing.
While appreciating the enthusiasm shown by T Manihar Singh (MCS) CEO-SHADC and Executive Director NIELIT, Imphal Th Prameshwor Singh in particular for improving computer knowledge and entrepreneurships skills in the district, Chairman ADC Sadar Hills also lauded the sincerity, commitment and dedication extended by NIELIT Imphal.
Th Prameshwor Singh, Executive Director NIELIT Imphal said that it is a privilege and honour for NIELIT Imphal to have come here and meet with the district councilors, officials of various departments and the people while setting up NIELIT Study Centre, Kangpokpi to provide basic computer education and various others entrepreneurship skills among the people and the Government employees.
He said that National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) is an autonomous scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt of India and our mission is skilling India in the area of Information Technology and Electronics.
T Manihar Singh (MCS), CEO SHADC, Kangpokpi also appealed the people of Kangpokpi to take maximum benefit of the study centre and avail the free facilities provided by NIELIT to ST/SC and concessional benefits for general candidates.
Y Subhaschandra Singh, Addl Director & Officer-in-Charge, NIELIT Senapati also spoke on the occasion while study kits were also distributed to the Government employees trainees who will undergo 14 days course during the inaugural ceremony.
