Overcome fear and worries: Radheshyam

Education Minister Thokchom Radheshyam has urged the students to overcome fear and worries, and become a job provider rather than a job seeker with their intellect and capability.
The motto of education should be to create and pave new opportunities for others who need support, the Minister added.
He said that education is a process of preparing the young minds to live and let others live a meaningful life and conveyed that the youths are the future of the State and the country as a whole and it is all in their hands to make the world a better place to live in by becoming the source of joy and care.
The Minister was speaking at the Annual MUTSU Meet 2019 of the Manipur University Tribal Students' Union (MUTSU) held under the theme, 'Invigorating Knowledge Performance' at the auditorium of Catholic School, Canchipur today.
Speaking at the event, Minister Radheshyam said that such gathering is important as it creates an occasion to communicate and understand each other thus strengthening the bond of oneness.
Radheshyam stated that the ability to think is the biggest gift of God to the humankind.
It is because of the ability to think that new innovations and creations are happening in different fields of technology and development making life better.
The youths should train oneself to learn to have a strategic thinking, he added.
Registrar, in-charge, Manipur University, Prof W Chandbabu Singh appealed the students to think and to thoroughly understand any situation to be able to work for the improvement and advancement of the society.
Stating that making a career is just a beginning, he said that to make the Nation more colourful the students must create happiness by overcoming one's selfishness.
He also advised the students to set milestones to be achieved in life.
The meet was attended by Vice-Chairman, Manipur State Disaster Management Authority (MSDMA), Adim Panmei, professors, research scholars and students of the university.
