Local leaders interact with AR in Tamenglong

Tamenglong, May 14 2011:
Brigadier AK Narula, Commander Headquarter 59 Mountain Brigade has urged the people of Tamenglong district to go by their own decision instead of going by forced decision of somebody.
Speaking to Zeliangrong leaders in an interaction session held yesterday, at 11 Assam Rifles camp here, he said that in Naga society women are sharing a great role.
They work hard for the family as well as for the society.
They knew more about the problems of the society as well as its solutions, he said.
He also assures to provide more Military Civic Action, MCA fund for remote far flung district of Tamenglong and in turn he urges for full cooperation to the Assam Rifles in the service of the people.
Leaders present in the interaction urged the Brigadier AK Narula and Col PS Chhonkar, Commandant 11 Assam Rifles to implement more MCA project to far flung villages of the district.
During the interaction, the brigadier hears the grievances of the people and also discussed relating to Naga political issues.
Representatives of Tamenglong based VACC, ZU, Zeliangrong Elders Forum for Peace Broker, ZWU and SHG participated in the programme in which Lt Col Karmendra Kumar was also attended.
