Minister distributes ANMOL tablets

Health & Family Welfare Minister L Jayantakumar Singh has distributed ANMOL (ANM On Line) tablet to the nurses serving in Tengnoupal District, today.
Altogether 20 numbers of mobile tablets were given to 20 select nurses from different Sub Divisions of the District during a simple function held at the office complex of Tengnoupal Deputy Commissioner, today.
Speaking as the chief guest of the function, Jayantakumar Singh said that ANMOL mobile tablets are being distributed with the objective to keep the nurses, doctors and people who are in need of medical attention connected.
He also said that more nurses will be provided with the mobile tablets in the near future.
The mobile tablet was given by the UNICEF, he added.
With the advancement of a society, the concept of digitalization of many departments and offices have been gaining momentum, the Minister said adding that the Health Department needs to be more technical and up to date.
He also urged all doctors, nurses, paramedical staffs to maintain their professional ethics and gave their best effort to ensure the right to life for all.
Jayantakumar also maintained that there should be no discrimination in giving medical treatment to sick and needy people.
He also advised the health staffs to be sincere and dedicated to their service so that the budget utilized for improving the health sector remains fruitful.
Government is always ready to take the health sector to a higher standard and despite the shortage of fund the Government is also prepared to give the best health services to the public, the Minister added.
He also assured to provide the required equipment and staff of the Community Health Centre, Tengnoupal in due course of time.
Later, the Minister and officials of the Health Department inspected the proposed site for construction of District Hospital, Tengnoupal.
Speaking to media persons, Director, Health Services, Manipur Dr K.Rajo Singh urged all nurses to handle the mobile tablets with utmost care.
He also advised the nurses not to misuse the tablets and kept them away from the children as it contains important medical and health data.
The programme was also attended by H Rupachandra Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Tengnoupal; Th Vikramjit Singh, Tengnoupal SP; Dr Prabin Singh, Deputy Director, Health and Benjamin Mate, vice president, BJP, Manipur State among others.
