ZUF thanks, condoles

Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) has conveyed heartfelt gratitude to all those who joined the outfit in expressing grief over the death of four of its cadres.
A press statement issued by its information and publicity secretary A Dangmei said that representatives from UNC, ZB-AMN, ZU-AMN, ATSUM, AZSU, ZYF-AMN, ZB-M, ZB-Jiri Zone, ZU-M, ZSUM, ZSULA, ZSU South Zone, ZSU-Jiri Zone, ZSU Nungba, SPCT, KAMA, NGO Jiri under RNBA, EX-MLAs, ADC Members, Pastors from various villages, dignitaries, social activists, general public and others joined the outfit in condoling the demise of the four cadres of the outfit.
A condolence service was held with home secretary Benjamin Pamei conveying condolence message at headquarters Dilung.
He also reaffirmed to committedly work for the community unitedly with love and zeal to stand against any tested time, added the press release.
Chief of army Jianchui Kamei, conveyed the condolence message in which he exhorted the soldiers to work fervently and cherish the work of sacrificing ones precious life for the greater cause of the Zeliangrong community.
The press statement added, "We are indebted to people who had contributed in cash and kind, we also thank those who had arranged transport and shifting of the bodies to and fro and to their respective parental homes.
We are indebted to the works and contributions which shared the grief in the loss of the cadres, who sacrificed their precious lives for Zeliangrong community.
We believe that the blood of the four cadres will never go wasted.
We convey our deepest condolence to the bereaved families and relatives.
We apologise to people whom we are not able to mention.
It is our prayer that, we will not be able to repay the work and contribution you all have made, but, with deepest adoration we pray that God almighty will reward you all abundantly in carrying out the selfless social service towards humankind.
Thank you all for supporting us morally and spiritually in times of our needs and befalling times" .
In another press statement issued yesterday, Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) claimed to have killed three Jawans of Central Government forces and inflicted injury to many other as an 'unprecendented and unfortunate' encounter with security forces broke out at Luangkao village under Tousem Sub-Division in Tamenglong district at around 4 am.
The dead and injured Jawans were taken away by the security ambulance for immediate medical attention from the encounter site, claimed a ZUF press statement while adding that four ZUF cadres also died in the encounter.
