New MSF executive members take oath

The oath taking ceremony of Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) 13th federal executive council's members, 2014-15 was held today at Manipur Press Club, Imphal.
The oath taking ceremony was attended by Laishram Lukhoi Power, founder advisor-in-chief, MSF, Th Udoi Luwang, founder chairman, MSF, LC Romesh, founder general secretary cum advisor, MSF and Dr Ng Jashanta, advisor, MSF.
A total of 30 new executive members took the oath today.
Kh Serajuddin, O Nandababu, A Bebina, Lucky Konsam and N Muktangamba, M Bidyaraj Meitei and W Chinglemba took the oath as president, working president, vice-presidents, general secretary and finance secretary respectively.
Speaking at the occasion, Kh Serajuddin said the newly elected executive members would focus more on the implementation of effective programmes to boost quality education.
It would also undertake to establish MSF units across the country to preserve the integrity of the Manipuri community, the president added.
The federation would, henceforth, endeavour to follow the guidelines set by the State Advisory Board, Academic Council and also monitor schemes provided by the Centre/State to education sector.
Another work programme listed for the new executive council members is construction of a memorial tomb of Pebam Chittaranjan Mangang at the federal executive council's own plot after construction of the council's office, Serajuddin added.
The ceremony was also attended by Thounaojam Iboyaima, father of social worker and Irabot foundation president, as
protem speaker.
