ADC team inspects schools

With an aim to bring about quality education in the district, ADC Members today visited Mao Pungdung UJB School, Emefiithumai Primary School and Tadubi UJB School wherein they handed out teaching aids and sports materials to the school authorities.
Interacting with teachers, Senapati ADC Member A Kapani called upon the teachers to give their best in their profession.
Headmaster of Mao Pungdung UJB School highlighted some of the problems faced by the school to the visiting team.
He requested the ADC Member to look into the repairing works of school building and fencing of the school compound.
The team also inspected the damages caused by the recent hailstorm.
During an interaction with the visiting team, teacher-in-charge of Emefiithumai Primary School highlighted the need of a proper school building, enough teaching staff and furniture for the school.
Adakho, vice president, NPO expressed dissatisfaction with the poor quality of school building and the negligence of teachers posted at Emefiithumai Primary School.
At Tadubi, A Kapani expressed satisfaction with the working system of Tadubi UJB School.
The Headmaster on his part requested for construction of more classrooms to the visiting team.
During the inspection and distribution drive, A Kapani also interacted with village elders and students.
While noting the difficulties faced by schools specially due to lack of proper infrastructure, he reiterated the ADC's pledge to give special focus on education.
Kapani also stressed on the need to enroll more students and ensure regularity of teachers in the school.
A Kapani was accompanied by Adakho, vice president, NPO, village leaders, and school officials.
