CDSU inducts new executive members

The CDSU today formed a new executives in an attempt to end the drama that was witnessed following the withdrawal of some parent bodies with an announcement that their withdrawal has been accepted and that the post held by their representative were filled-up by the existing executive of the union.
Accordingly, L Pumkhenchin, Th Thonglunthang, Thangkhanlun Samte, Kamsuanmung Guite, P Nengkhosoi, and Pumkhanlian Tombing were inducted as the President, Vice President, General Secretary, Secretary Organisation, Finance Secretary, and Secretary I&P respectively.
A press handout of the Union signed by its Secretary I&P department said, since the withdrawal of some parent bodies, a series of sincere efforts were initiated to restore the image and prestige of the union but failed to produce any desirable result.
'Having no other options, the remaining parent bodies petitioned the Adviser to sort out the confusion arising out of such unfortunate withdrawal.
The adviser, accordingly, convened a meeting today at the CDSU administrative building, New Bazar,' it stated further.
The meeting, he said, then accepted the withdrawal of some of their counterparts in to-to and made appointments to fill the post left vacated by their representatives.
The existing executive will continue till the present term (July 2014) and will immediately occupy the office and take charge of the union, it added.
