Man from State missing in Uttar Pradesh

A 40 years old man from the State has reportedly went missing on his way from Manipur to Amritsar on October 25 .
Naorem Joy Singh s/o (L) N Chandraja of Kakching Turel Wangma Maning Pareng left home on October 22 to Amritsar, He boarded the Dibrugarh-Amritsar train on October 23 along with one A Premkumar alias Tona.
Joy went down the train at Jaunpur station in UP around 11pm of October 24 to fill his empty water bottle.
While doing so, the train left him.
A local man took him to Railway Police Station later and the police officials arranged a train for him on October 25 with the instruction to go till Lucknow and catch a train to Amritsar from there.
Since then, the man was traceless, a statement issued by NE Support Centre and Helpline quoted the family members of the missing man as complaining.
Spokesperson of the NE Support Centre and Helpline, Madhu Chandra has meanwhile contacted the UP Police and also submitted a written appeal to Robin Hibu, DC of Delhi Police.
Following a request from NESCH, Kakching Police immediately responded and took the matter up, the statement added.
