Manipuri Nata Sankirtana Festival concludes

The three-day National Seminar cum Manipuri Nata Sankirtana Festival has concluded today at Shree Radha Madhava Adarsh Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Nambol.
The three-day seminar cum festival was held under the aegis of Rastriya Sanskrit Sansthan, (Deemed University) Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt of India.
Lal Bahadur Shastri Vidyapith, New Delhi Vice Chancellor Prof Ramesh Kumar Pandey graced the valedictory programme as the chief guest while Director of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi Prof Ramakant Pandey, HOD of Dance Department, Manipur University Dr M Thoiba and Vice Chancellor of KBV SAS University Nalbari, Assam Prof Deepak Kumar Sharma were the functional president and guests of honour.

Salient features of Sankritana were minutely discussed and benefits of learning Sanskrit were also highlighted by the experts during the three-day event.
As part of the event, various cultural programmes including Manipuri Maharasa Leela, Thang-Ta and other cultural items were also presented.
