The 2nd institutional fair for this year has commenced from today at GP College, Imphal under the aegis of Backward Youth Relief Institution of Manipur.
Chairperson of Manipur Women Development Committee AK Mirabai, principal of GP College N Ibobi and social worker Dhanachandra Sanasam attended the inaugural function as chief guest, guest of honour and president.
Delegates coming from Assam, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Delhi and Kerala apart from host State are taking part in the fair and imparting knowledge on the type of courses being offered in various institutions.
Based on the concept of career guidance and counselling, the institutional fair would continue for three days.
Transfer opposed: Wakha Youth Club, Imphal has opposed to transferring of headmaster in-charge of Wakha Primary School.
Asserting that the said headmaster in-charge is a dedicate teacher who has been working for the welfare of the school, the youth club demanded that his transfer order should be revoked.
The school has which class from nursery to V has only two teachers and the said head master in-charge even spend money from his own pocket for hiring two local volunteers so that the lesson of the students do not suffered, apart from the fact that he along with the other teacher contributed money from their own for construction of an extension room of the school, the statement informed.
Computer training: The computer training programmes of college teachers to be conducted by DOEACC, Imphal, Akampat would commence from May 30 in batches from 7 am to 9 am and from 2.30 pm on all working days.
