Friendship Archers� Club is leading medal�s tally with two bronze more than its nearest rival team Public Club at the end of junior division events in Indian round competition of the State Archery Championships being held at Palace Compound.
FAC and PC are tied on gold and silver medal haul at 5 and 3 respectively on the second day of the competition today while Assam rifles Archery Club opened its gold account when M Somi, Ksh Sunil and N Subashchandra claimed the Indian round team even gold with a score of 1849 points in the junior boys category.
ACC trio of L Romeo, Romee Golmei and Sh Thanil secured the silver with 1835 as Yaiskul Athletic Club team comprising of Th naokhomba, Y Niranjan and A Janitkumar culled 1811 points to occupy the third spot.
FAC equalled PC�s gold medal haul of five adding two yellow metal today through Th Sanatomba�s brace winning the 40 metres (325) and latter wresting the individual title with a total of 641 score.
Ksh Sunil and M Somi settled for the silver and bronze medals respectively in the 40 metre contest as Sanatomba edged Somi by a single point to win the 30 metre silver.
