The Keirao Bitra Lairembi Leikai Women's Social Development Association on behalf of local women and voluntary organizations strongly condemned the burning down of Keirao Bitra Community Information Centre by unidentified persons on July 25 night.
The other bodies are PLLKA, kanglei Chanura Chaokhat Thourang Lup, Keirao Bitra, and Keirao Bitra Awang Leikai.

These organizations appealing to all concerned against targeting public property under the guise of the ongoing agitation in the wake of Manorama's killing also observed that the burning of the CIC might be handiwork of some anti-social elements intent on maligning the genuine movement of the people.
The CIC was established, to facilitate the masses access to latest information and development throughout the world and should be protected by all instead of destroying it, said the bodies in a joint press release.
They also called upon the State authorities to repair the damaged building and provide computer accessories at the earliest.
Youth Brighter Club, Langdum also strongly condemned the burning of CIC and urged all concerned against such action in the future.
Progressive Youth Association, Lamsang Bazar, on the other hand, has condemned burning down of the Electricity Complain Room located near Praja Higher Secondary School by unidentified persons on the intervening night of July 17 and 18.
