Imphal, July 27:
A number of student bodies, including ANSAM, ATSUM, KSO (Hqs), AMSU, MSF and DESAM today met at the head office of ANSAM and minutely discussed the movement launched to revoke the Armed Forces Special Powers Act from State.
The student bodies have also appealed to the political leaders to see what can be done to lift all black laws from the State.
The meeting also discussed the sufferings faced by the people in the wake of the massive landslides and mudslides at Keithelmanbi, Turibari, Songpehjang and Gopibung in Senapati district, said the student bodies in a joint statement.
