NungshiTashi enter Guinness World Records for third time

NungshiTashi enter Guinness World Records for third time Making India proud by featuring in the prestigious Guinness World Records editions of 2015 and 2016 as world's first female twins to scale Everest and first twins and siblings to scale the Seven Summits respectively.
The 'Everest Twins' as they are globally known, Nungshi and Tashi Malik have again made it to the records book for a third world record as 'Youngest person to complete the Explorers Grand Slam' .
Today they received notification from the office of the Guinness Book of World Records via email confirming their record which read: 'We are thrilled to inform you that your application for youngest person to complete the Explorers Grand Slam (Last Degree) has been successful.
You are now the Guinness World Records title holder! You will shortly receive one Guinness World Records certificate in the post.
Congratulations, you are officially amazing!' .
The twins said that this record is most special for them as, "becoming youngest person on earth to accomplish something requiring extreme courage, risk and physical challenge means we have for once beaten even men to it," they said.
They were recently made the Brand Ambassador of the Adventure Tourism by Uttarakhand State and were honoured with India's highest adventure award 'Tenzing Norgay National adventure Award' by the President on August 29 which is equivalent to the Arjuna award of sports.
Championing the cause of girl empowerment, the twin sisters are currently engaged in establishing NungshiTashi Foundation Outdoor Centre of Excellence with headquarters in Dehradun and branches in all Himalayan States.
They have appealed to all charitable and spirited individuals and organisations to support their start up with material or financial resources.
