Mary Kom's fame and achievement would be forever remembered by the nation, and it is the wish of the outfit that her historic success may inspire many youngsters of both the hills and valley to win laurels for the Manipuri nation in the international sporting events.
It is not a matter of surprise that five Manipuris Mary Kom, Debendro, Bombayla, Soniya and Kothajit, took part in the London Olympics for games and sports run in the veins of each and every Manipuri despite their relatively insignificant total population.
The Manipuri nation has already gifted many popular games and sports to the world.
